A monumental installation and performance with huge number of "female costumes" (panties, braziers, shoes, dresses etc). While repeating the ritual of cleansing and making up the I attempted explore our notions, representation and interpretations of self-making, impermanence, gender categorizations, queer identity through a metaphoric concept of [baptismal] renewal, the cult of acceptance and our own sense of belonging.
The performance lasted for 1 hour 15 minutes inviting audience into my private and intimate space to confront their own voyeurs and resistance to [shapeless body].
