At the 19 Bone Performance Art Festival, Bern, Va-Bene presents his self-tortured body, struggling to survive within the construct of religious dictatorship, racial stereotype, sexism and gender prejudices.
His nude performance in very low temperature of -1ºC and below explores and confronts the ‘will’ to live by re-examining the awareness of our own mortality and vulnerabilities to human violence.
